Co-Op/WBL
Important Reminders
Students wishing to participate in a work-based learning (aka co-op) experience should discuss opportunities with their program of study teacher. Once in agreement on a proper experience, the student is responsible for ensuring the following requirements (aka paperwork) are met and turned in, and the Principal has granted approval before reporting to the work site. If you cannot access the links below or print the required copies, please call the ATC office at 859-498-1103 for assistance.
ATTENTION: Students must secure and maintain an approved co-op placement within 10 school days of any co-op class assignment. Failure to do so or to return all necessary documentation will result in removal from the co-op program and placement in a regular class setting at the high school or ATC.
It's crucial to remember that items 1 and 2 must be completed, submitted, and approved before you can begin your co-op. You will not be allowed to sign-out from MCHS as a co-op student without clearance from the ATC.
The co-op experience of any ATC student must be directly related to their selected program of study at the ATC. Non-related co-op experiences are available through the high school.
